OBITUARY

CORAZON TUIZA GARCIA

June 8, 1939September 7, 2020

Corazon Tuiza Garcia, 81, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2020 at her home with her family by her side, after a long battle with heart disease. She was born on June 8, 1939 in Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines to Catalino and Simfrosa Tuiza. Corazon grew up in the Philippines where she met and married her first love, Philip. She immigrated to the United States in 1980 and has been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada until her passing. Corazon is survived by her spouse, Philip; sons Elmer, Russell and his wife Mae Rainell, Eric and his wife Tammie; 9 grandchildren, Cody, Cassadie, Antonio, Alexa, Matthew, Jaelynn, Kylie, Lorenzo and Alexander. A visitation and celebration of life for Corazon will be held at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 North Main St., Las Vegas, NV on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00 am. She will be sorely missed.

My grandma was the sweetest and funniest person. She would always make you laugh and would always make sure you were taken care of. She took care of me when I was little and I have the best memories with her. She was the most selfless and caring person. She showed me just how important family is.
