Born October 15, 1927, in Oakley, Utah to Lyle Wilde and Coral Clark Wilde. Corinne grew up on a ranch in Oakley, Utah with her parents, and younger siblings. She attended school in Oakley and later, Kamas, Utah. After high school she attended and graduated from Stevens Henager College.
Corinne married Donald S. Pitt on June 6, 1947, in the Salt Lake Temple. They later divorced. Corinne married Douglas L. Oliverson on August 24, 1985, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Corinne was a hard worker and loved her job with the Wasatch-Cache National Forest Service. She and her good friend retired together on the same day. She couldn't stay home for very long and went to work at Z.C.M.I., where she enjoyed working until she fully retired.
Corinne was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Young Women's Presidency as well as callings in Relief Society and Primary, where her service and love affected many. Corinne and her husband, Douglas, served a two and a half year Temple Patron Mission in the Jordan River Temple. After moving to Las Vegas, she served for a time as a Temple Ordinance Worker in the Las Vegas Temple.
Corinne loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed tennis, golf, hiking, and dancing. She enjoyed needle work and was an avid reader. Corinne loved traveling and camping with her husband Douglas in their trailer. They loved watching the Utah Jazz games together and were devoted fans.
Corinne is survived by her husband, Douglas L. Oliverson, her son, Gregory (Connie), stepchildren Pamela Campbell, Jeffery Lynn (Lee Ann) Oliverson, Kim Russell (Wanda) Oliverson, Ruth Oliverson, June Oliverson, 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Donna Cooley and Marilyn Bowen. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clark Wilde, and three stepchildren, Vickie Lee Voss, Steven Oliverson, and Michael Ray Oliverson.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Discovery Park Ward Chapel at 5975 N. Clayton St., North Las Vegas, NV. Burial will follow at Palm Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be held before the funeral service at the Discovery Park Ward Chapel from 9:00 - 10:30 AM on February 8, 2025.
