I only have one clear memory of meeting Tito Crispin and this was in his last trip in the Philippines.  He said we've already met before but I can't remember it.  What stuck to me the most about him is he looks a bit like my father and Tito Noel when he smiles.

A seemingly bottomless source of love, compassion and support. I met him only once that I can remember but he impressed on me calmness and joy in that brief period. Thank God for blessing us with Kuya Crispin's light.

He is God's perfect creation. You will always remain in our hearts and your legacy will long be remembered and passed on from generations to generations. We will miss you and will always cherish the the very short moments you have spent wit us, my family. I can't forget that day that you left our house without letting us know where you were going. It was already sundown and you were not home yet. We got so worried of you but when you arrived you were all smiling. Just walked around, tried to see those old places including my father's house. I will always remember those old times when you were still young lots of singing during weekends. Those days that we visit ate Norma in her dorm in Manila. You always took me with you, even in Laguna. Very memorable days... Goodbye again and till we meet again... Reden and family.... Ate Norma.... the song will remain too "Two for the Road". You take care always.

When Grandpa always taught us what foods are good and bad for  you and he showed us helpful videos.

My first year in LV the excitement about a new found business- Tax People. Tito Cris was so excited about all the potential of the business. So excited that it was infectious!

Cris was one of the few genuine and good people I have known in my life. He cared about others more than himself. What a good man.

Cris was a quiet, kind and gentle man that we always admired. Our friendship meant alot.

I remember one time when Grandpa was at my house and we could never find him. But he always ended up riding someone's bike around the block. And he never liked people to waste food. :) I will always miss Grandpa

We appreciated Cris and his sweet spirit and good natured laugh.

I will miss my Godfather. They loved us and I loved him back. I didn't get to spend much time with him but I enjoyed seeing them on the holidays. I will miss my Godfather.

I'm so thankful for Mr. Rivera because he taught Pierre how to be a wonderful person and friend. 
I'm also thankful that he helped me when I bought my condo.

Grandpa Cris always went with the flow. He taught me how to mow the lawn. Every time I stayed in Vegas, Grandpa would always have me help him with yard work. Always teaching me and caring

Uncle Cris always supported me with school, and reminded me that with every decision I were to make, always put God first. I will always remember how loving & giving he is. Even through distance, he always tried to reach out to me.

I didn't really get to see him often but when I did, he was always there for my dad and I knew how much they valued each other.

I remember Cris when he had lunch with us with Annie 2 years ago even though he was not feeling well that day he has time to come with his friend, Annie from Canada. He was very pleasant to talk to and always had a smile with his friend. Very soft spoken and humble. I will miss you, Cris.

The last time I talk to him was 3 weeks ago. I ask him about the insurance and never think that will be the last time I will talk him. He even told me Norma is in the Philippines. I will always remember we had dinner at their house, very hospitable. I will always remember.

Thank you for sharing your life to us and give us unconditional love. I will always treasure all the time when we were together. From Navotas to Makati to Eastwood to Manila to Greenhills. From sapin-sapin to halo halo. I might not be able to see you now but i know someday...with Dad. I love you and please bring my hugs to heaven. Until then, Uncle Cris.

Cris is a very nice person w a smile on his face everytime you see him. He talks softly and I always feel he is a close brother to me. I (We) and Alex can't forget moments we've been together especially in reunion of friends here in the U.S. We remember him with a sweet smile on his face. 

We love him and the family.

Cris was someone who served valiantly. He will be one that Denise and I will never forget.

We are so grateful to have known and loved Brother Rivera. His sweet spirit and kindness will always be remembered. We are especially grateful for his kindness and fellowshipping of my mom as she moved into the ward and had her own health battles.

Grandpa was the best!

We love Grandpa. He's the best! We all miss him.

Grandpa was the kindest person. I remember he would always ride our bikes and we would laugh. I loved going on walks with him. He would always wear a jacket, even if it was 70 degrees outside. When we didn't eat all our food, he would eat the rest. The time I remember the most was when we went on the cruise. We couldn't find grandpa for a while, but then he called and said he was eating pizza. 
Grandpa was selfless. I will miss him a lot, but I know he's pain free in a better place!

As we lived in the Philippines, I remember from a childhood memory when my dad spoke highly of Uncle Crispin how kind, gentle and loving person he was. He  was a wonderful man who saw great things in people, always there to give a helping hand, and he  showed how precious families are. I'm glad he is not suffering anymore but sad that we won't be hearing his soft husky voice any longer. I know that you are now with our loved ones and that you will be watching over all of us. Thank you for the memories, kindness and love you have shared with us. You will never be forgotten and you will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you so dearly. . . until we meet again xxx

We will all miss Uncle Crispin dearly. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Now that his suffering has ended, he will finally be reunited with tata, nanai and the other brothers he had lost earlier. We will all see you again. Love you.

While serving in the Illinois Chicago Mission, I had the great pleasure of dining at the Rivera home several times. Although it was over 20 years ago, I will never forget the amazing food, the the beautiful home, the gracious host, and hostess, or the constant entertainment from a teenage, Charmaine. One particular night as my companion and I were eating more than our share of delicious philipino food, my companion, elder McLain, while sitting, broke his chair in two, falling to the ground. Charmaine and I could not contain ourselves for a good while, Crispin, and Norma, were unconcerned about the chair, and fussed over elder McLain until they were satisfied that he was unhurt. I am still friends with Charmaine, and will never forget her wonderful parents, and the feeling of being home, while far away from my own. Thank you Crispin and Norma for being such great examples of service.
