

Curt Vigil, 42, of Las Vegas, passed away April 9, 2012. Curt was born June 22, 1969, in Las Vegas. He graduated from Bonanza High School in 1988. Curt was a tile setter by trade and also worked valet at Sam's Town. While growing up, he loved vacationing at Mammoth Creek, Utah with his grandparents, mom, dad, brother and sister. As a teenager he enjoyed playing his guitar to heavy metal music. Later in life, he enjoyed fishing the creeks in Hatch, Utah, with his dad, brother and friends. Curt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garland "Poppa Gar" and Alma Miner and Fred and Rosa Vigil; uncle and aunt, John and Jolene Miner; uncles, Marvin Vigil, Joseph Vigil and Joseph Delgado; and aunts, Stella Aragon and Darlene Vigil. Curt is survived by his parents, Fred and Darlene; son, Christopher; brother, Freddy, and sister, Lisa (Rich), of Nevada; sister, Nannette of California; brother, Joel of Washington; aunt and uncle, Jeannie and Herb Rupprecht of Long Island, N.Y.; aunt, Dorothy (Obaido) Trujillo, aunt, Hope (Jesus) Martinez and Roger (Judy) Vigil, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; uncle, Abel Aragon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces, Laura, Alexia, Neve and Tosca; nephews, Dimitri, Christian and Francis; and numerous cousins. "Curt, we love you very much and we will always be thinking of you." Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
