

Dale Dimler, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away on November 10, 2014. He was born on March 24, 1928 to Karl Dimler and Ruth Ochs in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He attended Whitehall High School and graduated in 1946 before attending Muhlenberg College and joining the U.S. Army. He served honorably in Korea and retired after 30 years as a Chief Warrant Officer. He married Thelma Schreder in 1979 and they spent 22 years together in wedded bliss.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Pearle Shreve, his wife Thelma, his sister Jean Balliet, his brothers Karl and Jack, his step-daughter Cheri Willard, and his step-son Martin Schreder. He is survived by his son, Lant (Doris), three step-sons; David (Joanie), Mark(Ruth), and Karl (Mary) Schreder, his brothers Ross (Bonnie) and Kurt Dimler, his sister Ruth Thomson, 9 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and many good friends.
There will be a visitation on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 4-6 PM at Palm Mortuary S. Jones 1600 S Jones Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89146. Interment will be on November 17, 2014 at 9:20 AM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive Boulder City, NV 89005. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any veteran’s charity of your choice.
