Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Nevada for 2015, Dan I Newman, 61, laid down his working tools on January 11, 2016, his work was not finished and his column is broken. God’s finger touched him and he slept. Dan was born September 6, 1954 in San Gabriel, California to Manny and Donna Newman. Dan is survived by his wife, Diana of 18 years; son, Nathan; daughter, Kailee; stepson, Ron; stepdaughters, Carrie and Andrea; brothers, David and Mark; sister, Teresa; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna and brother Allen. Services will be held Sunday, January 31 at 1:00pm at the Masonic Memorial Temple, 2200 W Mesquite, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89106. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his honor to DeMolay Foundation of Nevada.
