Gloria, Michelle, and Caroline - Helen and I are saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. I want to thank your family for coming along side of me in the years we shared working at BIW. We shared children’s births, weddings, having grand-children and lots of laughs. Now we share in your grief of Dan’s passing, but will always remember in our hearts the warmth and friendship you and Dan brought to us.

Dan and I worked together for many years. I truly enjoyed Dan and his humor. I never had the chance to tell Dan that I had met his daughter while at the rehab center in Waterville. She was taking care of my mother-in-law. Dan and I had many laughs together. I will miss you my friend! Rest in peace.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dan's family in this most difficult time. I had the joy of working with both Gloria and Dan at BIW. They are an amazing couple who have affected many with their happy and loving spirits. They inspired and uplifted so many people with their amazing love for their family and each other. My greatest memories of Dan are the stories and photos he loved to share of the family (especially of his children and grandchildren). A ray of sunshine seemed to light up in his eyes and surround his heart during those moments. I am sorry that I unable to attend the service. Just know that my prayers will be with you . Sending love and big hugs to you all . Kathy Carpenter
