Miss Dani was so kind, caring and loving to our son Landon. When I would drop him off in the mornings at school, he would run to her without looking back and would give her a big hug and a kiss before running off to the playground. He would often talk about her at home saying how much he loved her. She was teaching him Spanish, and when I would send her a video of him using the words she taught, she would always respond saying he was brilliant and she loved him so much. We found so much comfort in leaving our son in her care. She was truly a gift from god and will forever remain in our hearts.

I had the privilege of getting to know Dani last year as she came into my classroom as an assistant. My children immediately took to her loving nature. I would always walk into find her playing games or talking with the children. When I hear the song La Lechuza I will always think of you. You were such a sweet person, taken too soon

We are Andrew's aunt and uncle on his mother's side. Words cannot adequately express our sorrow or how we are also mourning this tragic loss of both Daniella and Julian through our beloved nephew, Andrew. I am deeply sorry that there is no solace to be had for any of you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers have been with you all constantly since we heard the news. It is clear to us through both Andrew and his mother that Daniella was truly an amazing and special child of God who was blessed to have an extraordinary family by her side. Her photographs alone reveal a truly and undeniably angelic countenance. So saddened that we will not have the much anticipated honor of getting to know her this summer as was planned. Please accept our deepest and most sincere sympathies to all her family and friends. Know the prayers and thoughts for your family literally stretch across the country to include this place in North Carolina where so very many people are lifting your family up in prayer.

A couple of weeks ago you came to me and asked me if I ever needed an assistant, to keep you in mind. I asked you why and you told me that you loved my classroom and the way I work. That was a great compliment and it touched my heart. I wish you were here to make that happen. Thank you for being so wonderful with my Safari children. You will be missed.

Our love, thoughts, and prayers for this wonderful family who has suffered two unimaginable losses. We only knew Daniella through the transformation of love evident in our son, Andrew. Her legacy to all those she loved and inspired is everlasting. Another angel gone too soon.

I just met Dani, Andrew, and Jessica, a few weeks ago when they all joined our soccer team. She brought Julian with her and he always had a big smile. Dani seem very quiet, but once she hit that field, she was fierceless. We will miss her big smile, as well as Julian. My condolences to their families. Andrew and Jessica our condolences to both of you too. You will always be part of our soccer family! ⚽️⚽️⚽️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏

Ms. Dani was one of my daughter’s teachers this year. Lyla just adored her and she now says Ms. Dani is looking over her like her Great Nana :)

I invited Dani and Jessica to play soccer with me, and had so much fun playing with them!

She will be missed ❤️

We met Dani last year when she started in Ms. Campbell's class "The Owl's". Immediately Dani and our daughter, Olivia, forged a very special bond. Most days when I picked her up, she was either cuddled up next to her during story time or shrieking with glee as they played chase on the playground.
Dani babysat for us several times since meeting her and when we would arrive home, Olivia would cry because she did not want Dani to leave. Our older boys, Trevor and Connor, looked forward to Dani coming over as much as Olivia did. They all had so much fun together!
Each day when I dropped Liv off, I would see Dani's beautiful smile. We would share a quick hug, blow a kiss, or share an "Olivia" moment with one another. She was so loved by our whole family, we feel honored and blessed to have had this time with her.
