Danita Marie Thomas

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Danita Marie Thomas, who departed this life on February 11, 2025, at the age of 70.

Danita was born January 11, 1955 in Rayville Louisiana. Her family relocated and she grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Danita attended Western High School and later in life decided on a career in corrections. She received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Phoenix in science with emphasis on criminal justice. Danita was a beloved mother, sister, and friend, whose kindness and strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her nurturing spirit, her love for her family, and her unwavering faith. Throughout her life, Danita inspired many with her resilience and dedication to her loved ones.

She was proceeded in death by sisters Selma Jones, and Charlotte Jones. She is survived by her mother Curtistine Jones, her sister Marilyn Eubanks (Terry) her sister Debra Thomas, her brother Charlie Jones (Genice) children Danette Thomas, Kenric Thomas, Aisha McCullum, Javari McCullum and Laurence Allen; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A viewing will be held at Palm Mortuary Downtown, 1325v N. Main St Las Vegas, NV 89101, on February 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The service will follow from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, with interment at 1:00 PM.

Danita's family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering her beautiful life.
