

Our sweet Darlene Marie Kearley (Zizzo), has passed away suddenly in Las Vegas, on December 29, 2012, at the age of 45. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 23, 1967 to her mother Madeline Beane and her father Joseph L. Zizzo Sr. His wife Sharon (Hudson) Zizzo was also very special to her. She married her husband and soul mate, Thomas Kearley Sr. on June 18th, 1988 in Bensenville, IL and they have resided in Las Vegas since 1995. She was an angel to many and will truly be missed. Dar will always be remembered for her beautiful heart and soul along with her tremendous love for her family, friends, and animals. She had a smile that could shine like the sun and a giggle that would brighten any day. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, and mother that always dedicated her time and attention to others before herself. She became an R.N. after earning her degree at College of Southern Nevada in 2005 and was dedicated to her job at Sunrise Hospital as a pediatric nurse. She also devoted her heart to rescuing and fostering doxies for the Las Vegas Hot-Diggity Dachshund Club and Rescue. She loved to have fun, take risks, and enjoy life to the fullest. She is deeply loved by her husband, Thomas Kearley Sr., her dear son Thomas Kearley Jr., 23, his fiancée Kayla Stark, 22, and her precious daughter Melanie Kearley, 22. She is the oldest of five siblings who all survive her; Joseph L. Zizzo Jr., Dena A. (Zizzo) Ryan and her husband Michael Evertsen, Gina V. (Zizzo) Guyton and her husband Kenyatte Guyton, Kevin M. Zizzo and his girlfriend Jennifer Lynch, and Jennifer A. (Zizzo) Carpenter and her husband Christopher Carpenter. Darlene was a very special aunt to three nieces; Destinee Taylor,17, Madison Ryan, 16, and Avionce Guyton, 9. She left behind her beloved dogs Boo Radley, Portillo, Tigger, Spencer, Slim, and Heidi. She has many other family members and friends that were near and dear to her heart. Services will be held on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV.
