Darlene passed away on May 21st, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Darlene graduated from Lakewood High School in 1959 and led an active life that was spent in 5 states including doing Real Estate in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She retired in the early 2010’s and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas to spend time with her son, Mitch and grandkids. With that, came with living on Lake Brittany in Bella Vista and enjoying seeing all the birds and wildlife! Darlene was a loving wife to Wayne (60 years!), daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and much more!
She had a great heart with many people in mind always. That attitude of life, she was given many friends throughout Arizona, Arkansas, California, and Nevada. After her first son was born, she and Wayne managed a hotel in Parker, Arizona where they had a fabulous time. She was known for her love of miniatures including having a setup in Rogers, Arkansas at “The Rose”. One of her favorite singers was Celine Dion. In California, she loved the beach and living on 7th street which she made many friends! in July 2019, she and Wayne moved to Las Vegas to be close to Michael and family where she spent 3 years and was a wonderful neighbor to all! She was an excellent mother to 3 sons, grandmother to 8, and great grandmother to 5. She also had a love for yorkies which included “Spike” and Bailey (who will miss her much). Darlene’s love for everyone and kindness will be missed by all. We love you.
