Darrell H. Ebert, 68, a retired gaming and sports book writer, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. He was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Long Beach, Calif. and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ebert and sons, Ryan Ebert and Kyle Ebert, both of Las Vegas. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 15, with funeral services following, both at Liberty Baptist Church, 6501 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
