David L. Christensen, 47, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 30, 2011. David was born Jan. 1, 1964, in San Bernardino, Calif. He was an accountant for Rialto USD in California for 10 years and later worked for Suncoast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. David was always a giver and never a taker. He was a wonderful and loving son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Jeanne Mitchell; and his beloved cat, Scarlett. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, June and Bob Seikel; father and stepmother, Larry and Margaret Christensen; brother, Greg (Pamela) Christensen; uncle, Wally (Jackie) Mortensen; cousins, Mark Mortensen, Melanie Nash and many many friends in California and here in Las Vegas. Private services will be at David's mother's home Friday, Feb. 11. In lieu of flowers, David would appreciate donations to the Nevada SPCA, 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas, 89118.
