

David Elliott Grant was born on August 24, 1954 in Boston, MA to Daniel W. and Rosetta Potter Grant. He passed away peacefully at PAM Specialty Hospital on January 9, 2022 after a brief, but difficult, battle of ill health.
David was educated in the Boston Public Schools and graduated from Boston Technical High, and attend the University of Mass for one year. He joined the US Air Force in 1974 where he served for 4 years. Upon departure from his service at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, David became employed at Caesar's Palace for more than 35 years.
David accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized by the late Rev. Alfonso McCloud, pastor of Greater Baptist Missionary Baptist Church.
As his pastime and hobbies, David enjoyed collecting caricatures, dating back to the Civil War. He had a huge collection of baseball cards and portraits of post and past Presidents from Franklin D Roosevelt to Obama.
Dave was preceded in death by his beloved father, Daniel W. Grant and his loving sister, Carole Potter Grant.
He leaves to cherish his memories, and will be sorely missed, by his beloved wife, Bobbie Holmes-Grant; his loving mother, Rosetta Grant; one Aunt Gladys Noiles of Boston, MA; several nephews and nieces and step-children; Kesha Holmes, Sheba Fladger (DeShawn), David (D.J.), Redmond and Marcus Redmond; 11 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandson and a host of other relatives and friends.
