

“A LIFE WELL – LIVED” We rejoice in the celebration of life of Deacon Samuel Edwin Wiggins, born on March 25, 1933 to Samuel E. Wiggins and Euretta Lott Wiggins, and his sister Sadie, in Malvern, Arkansas. Deacon Wiggins received his primary education in Malvern, Arkansas. When his parents relocated to Los Angeles, California he graduated from Jefferson High School. In pursuing his education he received an Associates of Arts Degree from Los Angeles City College. Deacon Wiggins confessed Christ as his personal savior at an early age. Deacon Wiggins enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country and received an Honorable Discharge in February 1955. Deacon Wiggins and his first wife Jewell (deceased) were the proud parents of fours beautiful children. He was employed by United Foods Commercial Workers as a devoted Manager for Vons Market until he retired. Deacon Wiggins united with Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA under the Pastor ship of the late Rev. A.W Lott and the Reverend Dr. Solomon L. Drake. He served faithfully in the Ushers Ministry, Sunday School Ministry, Brotherhood Ministry and the Male Chorus Music Ministry. Deacon Wiggins met the love of his life Ossie White and immediately recognized that she was a blessing from the Lord. They were married in Holy matrimony on December 19th,1999 in Los Angeles, California. Shortly thereafter, they relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. In July 1999, they joined the Second Baptist Church family under the pastor ship of the late Rev. Willie Davis. Deacon Wiggins faithfully served in the Usher Ministry, Male Music Ministry, and Brotherhood Ministry. On July 28, 2002 he received his Certificate of Ordination as a Deacon, and in 2004 graduated from the school of Evangelism. Deacon Wiggins was respected, admired and loved by the many lives he touched. Deacon Wiggins was preceded in death by his parents and sister. He leaves to remember his precious life, his devoted wife Ossie, daughters Karen, Carla (Michael) and Kimberly, son Keith and a loving and caring daughter in law Lynda. He also leaves four grandsons; Bryan, Reginald, Ramiah and Riley, two granddaughters Danielle and Taylor and Two great grandchildren Dylan and Savannah. Deacon Wiggins also leaves a host of relatives, friends and his Second Baptist Church Family.
