Dean was born on June 9, 1948 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. He was the son of David and Margaret Sudweeks. Raised in Winnemucca and North Las Vegas, Nevada, he was brought up to be tolerant and trustworthy. As a child, he learned to be conscientious, responsible and punctual. These were all traits that he would carry with him throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife and 30 year companion, Gerry Humphreys, his parents, Margaret and David, brothers, Dale and Bruce and sisters, Joanne and Wanda. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
