Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was proud to call the city her home. She was a devoted and determined single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her only daughter, Ashley Nicole, always ensuring that love, strength, and opportunity were at the center of her daughter's life. Her unwavering dedication and sacrifices shaped the woman Ashley is today.
When Ashley was in elementary school, she married George Groff, the man Ashley proudly considered her father. Together, they built a family rooted in love, support, and commitment. Their marriage brought stability, cherished memories, and a lasting bond that will forever be treasured.
She also dedicated many years of her life to serving the people of Nevada through her work with the State. As a member of the Governor's Constituent Services team, she took great pride in helping others and serving her community. She loved her work and found deep fulfillment in making a difference in the lives of those she served. Her commitment, compassion, and professionalism earned the respect of her colleagues, and she considered it an honor to serve the people of her home state.
She faced her battle with cancer with remarkable courage, grace, and resilience. Even during her most difficult days, her love for her family never wavered. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, determination, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, George Groff, and her cherished daughter, Ashley Nicole, along with family and friends whose lives were forever touched by her compassion and generous spirit.
Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she loved, and the countless memories that will be held close forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
"Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the hearts of those who carry their love forward."
