My. Dearest Debra. we loved you very much May you. Rest. In peace Vera Dykes Williams

Well Grandma, you’re in the heavens above!

You weren't just my grandma but you were my friend. I know you loved me and cared for me and my family with all your heart 💛 and that never goes unnoticed. I was grateful to know you were someone I could count to create memories with and just always having fun. You no longer are in pain and can finally have peace.

Ms. Debra you will and always forever be in my heart respectfully Grace aka Gee 💖

I don’t know what to say but I will say from the heart you were so much loving to me you loved your children and grandchildren
You gave me advice when I was a teenager about believing in god and believing in myself

As a child you were my safe space. I remember your home and presence being warm. I felt loved, and I thank you for that. Many of my core memories as a child involve you, which tells me you had a lot to do with shaping who I have become. You exposed me to things like faith, music, and family. You were patient and kind to me even though God knows I was a difficult child. Yet you always believed in me. You made me feel special and important in a world that made me feel small and powerless. You gave me confidence when I didn’t have it and told me it would be okay when I was afraid.

I know you are enjoying heaven. Thanks for loving us.

To My Beautiful Mother, Until We Meet Again ❤️

Mom,

How do I say goodbye to someone who has been a part of my entire life? There are simply not enough words to express how much I love you or how deeply I will miss you.

We have been through so much together, especially these past few years. Watching you battle cancer, lose your hearing, your ability to walk, and eventually your independence was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. As your daughter, I witnessed your struggles, your strength, and the pain you endured. Our journey wasn’t always easy, but through it all, my love for you never changed.

One of the things that breaks my heart the most is remembering how much you loved music and dancing. Oh, Mom, how I miss our times going out dancing together! Watching you lose the ability to hear the music and dance brought me so much sadness because I knew how much joy those things brought you. Those beautiful memories will forever live in my heart.

Mom, I hope you knew how deeply you were loved and that everything I did came from my heart. I wish we had more time, more laughter, more conversations, and just one more dance.

But through my tears, I find comfort in our faith in Jesus. I believe you are now resting peacefully in His loving arms. No more cancer, no more pain, no more suffering. You can hear again, walk again, and dance again. I can only imagine your dancing through Heaven with a joy and freedom this world could no longer give you.

You will never be forgotten, Mom. Your love, strength, and memories will remain with me forever.

Because of God’s promise of eternal life, I know this is not goodbye forever, but simply until we meet again.

And when that beautiful day comes, Mom, I hope you’ll save a dance for me.

Rest peacefully, my beautiful mother. Your battle is over, and you are finally home with the Lord 🙏🏽

I love you forever, Mom. ❤️

Forever your loving daughter

Grandma’s 71st birthday
Grandma, Lidia, & Andre

Grandma, I will always hold on to the memories of you, especially of being a child, going to your house every weekend, listening to your stories, and being spoiled. And oh boy, you spoiled us rotten, but I guess that’s what grandmas do.

You always made me feel so loved and special, like I was one of a kind. And really made me feel like my dad was in me. Like you saw him in Andre and me. And that felt real to me. You kept him alive for us, and I think we kept him alive for you. It was a special connection. I know you’re in paradise with my dad and at peace. That brings me comfort.

I’m grateful for the time we had together. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you and will see you again one day. Love Lidia.

Goodbye my dear sister, gone too soon but never forgotten. You were a one of a kind individual with your own unique perspective on the world, you will be missed, all my love, your brother Johnnie.

Rest in Peace my Sister.
From your brother, Jerry L Moore Jr. & the Moore Family.

I called Aunt Debbie a master at texting. She would have 20 texts sent before I could reply to her first one. She would always make sure to let you know how much she loved you in those texts and she would also share some great advice. She had so much faith and was a prayer warrior. She would make sure to pray for others even when she needed prayer. She had an infectious smile! She was extremely intelligent. She loved her children and grandchildren so much. I learned a lot from her about the importance of letting your loved ones know how important they are to you. You will be so missed but never forgotten!

Aunt Debbie was always the life of the party. She told great stories and had a fun sense of humor! She will definitely be missed.

In loving memory of Aunt Debbie
Aunt Debbie was one of a kind, she was funny, had a quick wit that would keep you laughing. She had such a vibrant spirit and is deeply loved and deeply missed.
I have such great memories of going for our annual family Thanksgiving visit. You always kept us on our toes, kept us laughing and made sure we knew just how much you loved us. I miss those trips.
Thank you, Aunt Debbie, for the love, the laughs and unforgettable energy you brought to every life you touched. You will always be remembered, loved and never forgotten.

I was very sad when I heard of my sista passing. But I thought about it some more and realized that she is in a much better place now.I did not get to visit with her before she passed, because I didn't want to see that Deb.She was so full of life, always happy. She did things like go to the casino and listen to a certain band and just dance until she was ready to go home.I will always miss her .She took me on my first trip to the garment district. We walked amount strangers ate hot dogs and enjoyed life. That was how she was, unafraid of the unknown. She loved her son, daughter, and her grand kids. Also her mother, before she passed over, now she's with her Walter her mom and all of her loved ones.she will always be in my heart with fond memories.
