Born on August 14, 1987 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Tanya Hiller and Audwin Johnson. His family meant everything to him. To us, he paved the world. Derek Hiller was a man of honor, courage, love, and strength.
Derek enjoyed spending time trying new restaurants, playing video games, and cheering on his football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all else, he cherished his mother and his daughter.
He attended Milan Institute where he earned his Medical Administrative Assistant certification which led to his role at WeCare Pediatrics - a role he loved. Both at work and in his personal life, Derek enjoyed sharing moments with children.
He is survived by his parents, his daughter Ania Beasley, his sister Danyelle Conant, brother-in-law Joseph Conant, and niece and nephew Freya and Eoin Conant.
Our hearts break as he rests peacefully and walks amongst the stars. God gained another angel and this is all amongst his plan. May he rest in heavenly peace as his story was cut short, but lived out well.
A Celebration of Life/Funeral will be held on October 12 at 12:30 pm at Palm Northwest Mortuary.
