She was born on December 15, 1950 in Kingman, Arizona but spent most of her life in Las Vegas. Dixie graduated from accounting school and worked as an accountant until she became disabled. Dixie was known as a fighter and she fought hard and persevered until she was able to receive all the disability benefits due to her.
As a lover of all animals, but especially horses, she used to give horse tours as well. The daughter of a true cowboy, this always came easy to her. Not only was she an accomplished rider, but she was also an accomplishes diver. Dixie also loved music and dancing and sketching.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Zeron; son, Levon Zeron; grandchildren, Fancy, Elektra and Gypsy Zeron and brothers, Bill and Henry Palmer. Tragically, she was predeceased by her daughter, Renai Palmer and grandson, Gavin Palmer.
Dixie was a light who touched everyone who knew her and though the time we had with her could never be enough, we are both blessed and forever grateful to have had her in our lives.
