Donna Jean Washer, 65, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on November 30, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in September of 1960 in Delaware to George & Violet, and had proudly called Las Vegas her home since 1985. It was here that she enjoyed a successful career as a Data Specialist in the Beverage Wholesale and Distribution Industry.
Donna was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, and signature sass. More than anything, she loved her family, her friends, traveling, country music (Sunday mornings listening to the Country Music Countdown was a tradition), attending concerts, reading, Rummy, Scrabble, Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune… even though, one of her children once joked that she “wasn’t ‘perky’ enough to be a contestant.” A funny little fact about Donna is she detested onions. So much, in fact, that she would tell the wait staff at restaurants that she was allergic to onions to ensure they wouldn't show up anywhere on her plate.
She is survived by her oldest son, Michael, his wife, Kandis, and their two children, Emma and William; her son Matthew and his wife, Micki; and her daughter and travel partner, Amber, her husband, Rene, and their newborn son, Zadyn. Donna is also survived by her sisters, Lee Ann and Janet, and her brother, George.
We take comfort in knowing that Donna is reunited with the love of her life, Bob, as well as Grammy and Pop-Pop.
A memorial service will be held on December 20, 2025, at Palm Mortuary - South Jones, located at 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Following the memorial service, a reception will take place at the same location from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
