Donnie Lee Ashford

Donnie was born to Willet Ashford and Arthur Davis of Chicago, IL on November 25, 1953. He graduated high school and continued his education by attending college for one year. At the age of 20 Donnie enlisted in the United States Air Force in Chicago, IL on Feb 15, 1973 as a Ground Equipment Technician and later advanced to recruiter. During his tour of Duty he was honored with many awards. After 20 years of service with the military, Donnie retired on February 28, 1993 as TSergeant. He later was employed with the Job Corp. of America for 15 years.

On November 19, 1975 Donnie and Linda F. Williams was joined in Holy Matrimony in Grand Forks, ND and had a son Frederick Ashford. This union lasted 43 wonderful years.

Donnie had a great sense of humor and loved to work with young adults and loved family and friends.

Donnie leaves to cherish his memory his Spouse Linda F. Ashford, Mother Willet Leverson, Sisters: Lorraine Dischinger (John), Vanessa Leverson, Joyce Leverson and Brother Terry Leverson, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
