I worked with Donny for 9 years at the Plaza Hotel/Casino in the 90's. Donny was a knowledgeable and hard working professional. He specialized in HVAC & Refrigeration. But there was very little Donny couldn't troubleshoot and repair. I was new to the Hotel/Casino business myself and Donny took me under his wing and taught me a ton!

Donny had a Green convertible Olds 442 then.  A big monster of a muscle car. He worked on that car almost as much as he'd drive it. But he loved that car!

If Donny wasn't busy fixing something? He was talking to someone. Donny was a gregarious man! He loved people! I know he really loved his family. Nothing he wouldn't do for them. He was always talking about them or doing something for one of them. Especially his grandkids. He was always buying them some wiz bang gift. But he loved his family and was never ashamed to show it.

He was a man of simple wants and needs. Nothing too fancy for him. A very down to earth guy. My most sincere condolences to his wife and family. But remember you had the pleasure of his company and that was a gift. My he rest in peice.

Thank you, Donny, for all that you did for us. You made us laugh, you taught us how to work hard, and you showed all of us what a great guy you were.  You were a great father to me and a great example of what a legacy can be. A father may pass on but his thoughts, hopes, and dreams live on in all of us. Rest now, I will see you again someday and I might even bring some of your tools back. lol  DRP  ..........   Kelly  

Remembering the good times we had! I love you!

I've known Donny most of my life (I was 13 or 14, he was 18 or 19).  I remember running around Oklahoma City with him, just seeing what we could get up to. I always loved him. Rest in peace Donny.

Donny was such a character. Always a warm greeting accompanied by a big smile and a big hug. One felt so welcomed in his presence.
I will remember his sense of humor, funny stories and sharing M&M’s along with many dinners we shared through out the years as our family joined children in marriage and our Grandchildren, whom he loved so much.
He was a wonderful Grand “PaPa”!
He had a gift, when it came to spending quality time with the kids. He went out of his way to make their play spaces special .
He loved dogs too. And had a desire for them to be rescued and loved. Donny you will be soo missed for your kindnesses over the years.
May you be embraced by our Heavenly Father as you embraced so many here. . .

I will remember Donny  like the old days when he was full of adventure and life.  When he dragged us through the field to get a old rusty wheel hub that no one should be lifting.  He threw it up on his shoulder like it was butter. We will treasure it forever, it’s in my yard right where he dropped it.  Jill and I laughed at the time, “what am I going to do with that”. It’s  a very nice addition to our planter. He was the HUB, The center of the wheel.   I hold all the family in my prayers.  

We lost one of the good guys... I have many fond memories of Donny as he was one of the best grandpas to my very sweet great niece Brieann. He loved her like no other. Donnie was always their for her and her mom Kristina and he made sure they always had what they needed. 
Donnie you will be missed each and everyday ..

Donny’s brother, Jim , and I were always so excited when Jill and Donny came to visit. Jill and I would sit and listen to the two of them reminisce about their childhood for hours. Donny had a way of telling stories that were so funny that we laughed until I couldn’t catch my breath and Donny would laugh so hard that he had to wipe the tears away. I will miss those stories and that infectious laughter. 

I only met Donny a few times but he was always happy.   He had a good sense of humor and you just knew he was a good guy.   Unfortunately, we lost one of the good ones.  Till we meet again.
