Dora Louise Mack Meng, 92, passed away on May 20, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dora was born in Columbus, Ohio to Mary and Frank Mack on February 23, 1928. Dora grew up in El Segundo, California and graduated from El Segundo High School in June 1945. She was a long-time member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Dora was married to Donald Meng Sr. on November 22, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She retired from REECO in 1993. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Meng Sr. (husband), Michael Meng Sr. (son), Nancy Terry (daughter), George Mack (brother), and Richard Mack (brother). She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda Carpenter, son, Donald Meng Jr. (Karla), son, Ronald Meng Sr. (Pam), son, John Meng (Connie), daughter Carol Greathouse (Gary), son-in-law, John Terry, 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Peggy Rubel of California, sister-in-law, Mary Lee Mack of California, and anyone who had the pleasure of her company. There will be a private family graveside service. Dora will be buried next to her husband Donald at Palm Mortuary, Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).

Dear grandma, you were always the life of the party. From being at family gathers to Facebook messaging like a pro!! I’m sorry there was times I was so busy I couldn’t get back to you right away. Grandma I’m so thankful you got to meet my little girl at your sons but my grandpas anniversary party you know grandma that day I don’t think I’ve ever seen you cry but that one time and you course looked beautiful as always anyway grandma I’ll miss you so much! :( I love you so much

Oh Grandma! You will be sorely missed! 80 grandchildren total! What a legacy you leave behind. You sure loved the babies and they loved you. I feel so thankful to have gotten to spend time with you before you went to heaven to be with Grandpa, Uncle Mike and Aunt Nancy. We’ll see you again! Love you forever!
