DOROTHY H SULLIVAN

2/27/1932 – 7/26/23

Dorothy H Sullivan, family matriarch, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after a well lived, long, full and complete life filled with numerous business and personal accomplishments. She was 91 years old.

Las Vegas resident of 56 years and a successful and well respected business owner in the Mortgage Banking industry and was elected first woman President of the State of Nevada Mortgage Bankers Association. After her retirement, she served as the Director of Volunteers at Desert Springs Hospital for many years.

Her adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, exploring countries and experiencing spectacular sights and adventures. She was an avid golfer and a charter member of Spanish Trial Country Club for many years. Among her many talents, she had an remarkable knack and passion for oil painting, creating award winning works that hang proudly in all of her children’s homes with much pride.

Above all else, she cherished family gatherings, hosting them with boundless love for her family and friends.

Dorothy is proceeded in death by her parents Mathew & Margret Marault, brothers Mathew Jr & Jerry, sister Sally and son John Jr.

She is survived by her sons Patrick & Curtis, daughter Kathryn Howell (Richard), Grandmother to five, Great Grandmother to 11.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 4PM at 8910 W. Rosada Way, Las Vegas, NV.
