Dorothy W. Villandre

Dorothy W Villandre 2/3/44-6/24/17 Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charles and Norma DeGeest. She was also preceded in death her husband, Joseph Villandre in 2011, and sister Mildred Vandermay. Dorothy is survived by sister, Charlotte White, brother Charles DeGeest, daughter, Diane Langgin, son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Jessica Langgin, and her two cherished granddaughters, Jacynta and Rachel Langgin as well as two fluffy kitties Stinky and Blue Eyes. Dot's appreciation for life was well known by her family as well as many others. Her gift was a lost art; the ability to write & mail letters and to remember & honor special occasions far and wide. She immensely cherished her long-time family at Nellis Air Force Base most recently the Sunrise Vista golf course -her coworkers and golfers alike. Her prideful affiliations were with the women's auxiliary at the VFW her local Las Vegas VFW family, and many charitable organizations. She was also a long time member of Eastern Star like her mother. Dorothy died unexpectedly and in her home. A Celebration of Dot's life will be at 5PM, Saturday, July 22 at the VFW located at 4337 Las Vegas Blvd. All are invited to attend. Dorothy will join her beloved husband, Joseph Villandre "Together in God's Care Forever", at the Veterans' Memorial at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 on Monday July 24th at 12:40. There will be a 40 minute dedication and then the burial at plot X-215.
