Earle Arvey Malkin, age 94, leaves his best friend and life companion, his beloved wife of over 44 years, Jo Ann Brinkman Malkin, his daughter, Sherri (Mrs. Clinton) Stevens of Illinois. He lost his brother Howard (Francine) Malkin, and leaves his nephews, Dr. Steven (Pamela Weiner) Malkin, their children, Jordyn (Ryan Graff), Kendall and Spencer, Gary (Lisa) Malkin and their children, Abbie and Becca. He also leaves Jo Ann's daughter, Karen, and her sons with whom he has had a remarkable relationship, Peter and Thomas, and an Jo Ann's nephew Charles Brinkman.
Earle was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Judge Harry H Malkin " Tsvi Hersh ben Yitzchol Isaac" and Rose Arvey Malkin " Dvorsheh Rizel bat Yisroel HaLevi", he was a retired lawyer and a Fellow of the American and International Academies of Matrimonial Lawyers. He was a retired US Army Colonel and a Las Vegas resident since 1996. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois, John Marshall Law School, the US Army Command and General Staff College and the US Army War College.
He was a friend to many people in social and sports activities and enjoyed the camaraderie of people of different political, economic and religious backgrounds.
A volunteer for KNPR's Radio Reading Service for many years, he was also a Mentor in the Clark County School District. That he was President of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Southern Nevada is an indication that family was of prime importance to him.
He and Jo Ann loved to travel, especially to be with their extended families throughout the United States, as well as Internationally.

A graveside service for Earle will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
