Edgardo Janolo Gonzales

Edgardo Janolo Gonzales, 78, a resident of North Las Vegas passed away February 26, 2018 at 7:09pm. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Edgardo was born October 15th, 1939 in Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite, Philippines to his parents Dalfin Fauni Gonzales and Christiana Janolo Gonzales. Edgardo married his beloved wife Gertrude Jet Gonzales who he was married to for 55 years. Edgardo served proudly in the United States Navy for over 20 years and then worked for the United States Postal Service for another 20 years. Edgardo loved the game of golf were he learned while being stationed in Memphis, Tennessee. When he moved back to San Diego he joined the Golfinos golf club and when he finally moved to Las Vegas he joined the Mirage Golf Club. Edgardo was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved being around family, friends and playing golf. We know right now he is paying the best golf courses in heaven. Edgardo is survived by his wife Gertrude Jet Gonzales of 55 years, his son Edoreno Reno Gonzales, his daughter in-law Mary Peck Gonzales; grandchildren Marissa, Nicholes and Natalie. He is also survived by his sister Eva Gonzales Rojo, bother in-law Romeo C. Rojo, Niece Eileen Rojo Berry. Sister, Susan Gonzales Toledo, brother in-law Angelito B. Toledo, nephews Amiel Tracy Toledo, Angelo Toledo, Anjelico Toledo. Brother Hector Gonzales, sister in-law Leila Bella Gonzales, Niece Crizel G. Delacruz Cristina G. Manabat, nephews Jason Gonzales and Jorge Gonzales. Services will be at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
