Edward Louis Paliotta Jr.

Edward Louis Paliotta, Jr., age 65 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed on Friday, April 29, 2022. Edward was born in Providence, RI on December 2,1956. He has an identical twin brother, John who is one-minute older. They had wonderful parents who raised them with strong family values. In addition, he was surrounded by many relatives who influenced them in morals and traditions.

At age 9 years old, Edward was first given a guitar and lessons. Edward and his brother [who played the drums] were inseparable. He never stopped playing music which included being with a Big Dance Band at 13 years of age. In 1979, he graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts as a jazz guitarist. He was a teacher’s assistant at the college, traveled, performed at various venues and with multiple celebrities.

Edward went to Las Vegas to pursue his love of music where he met and fell in love with his wife forty-one years ago. As the music industry started to change, he became a Realtor and later he became the Owner/Broker/Property Manager of Sunrise Real Estate, LLC. He kept up his physical health after having heart issues with two stints. He continued his passion to play and write music. His interests became diverse in law enforcement, paramedics, personal development, hiking, camping, cooking, mountain climbing, shooting and training others in firearms. He became a certified NRA Instructor and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. His plans were to retire by December 2022 from the real estate industry and travel with his wife to train others in firearms and safety.

Survived by his daughters, Tiffany and Kaylani; his son, Gilbert and his granddaughters, Nalani and Seneca.

His love for his brother goes beyond just their lifetime together. John Paliotta lives also in Las Vegas with his wife Eve, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. The funeral service begins at 2:00pm with a burial to follow. Celebrazione della vita [Celebration of Life] commences after the burial.
