Elaine G Vinson

Elaine was born to Albert Nigg, of Switzerland and Mary Jane Bastian, of Portugal in French Camp, CA. Elaine grew up in Tracy, and settled in Reno, NV, where she was married to William Vinson “Arky” for 36 years. In 1957 Elaine began working for the Smith family as a cashier at Harold’s Club and retired as the cage and credit manager 42 years later. Elaine and Arky enjoyed evenings out with close friends and summer weekends in South Lake Tahoe. She retired with grandchildren in Las Vegas, where she took paint and dance lessons, played cards, knit, made jewelry, and enjoyed happy hour with friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arky Vinson, sister Alice Nigg Lambert, and son Eric Pitto. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Albert and Geri Nigg of Tracy, CA, granddaughter Jessica Colvin and husband Eric of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter Erica Pitto of Reno, NV, granddaughter Leesa Badley of Groveland, FL, and great-grandchildren Billy, Lucy, Chance, Jimmy, Ryan, John, and Luke; and great-great grandchild Adalyn.
