Elinor Jessie Horden

Elinor Jessie Horden passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. She was born May 21, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. Elinor danced in various places during her career including Sweden. She came to Las Vegas in the early 1950’s and as a showgirl she performed at many of the famous Las Vegas hotels. Elinor was married to her loving husband Charles Horden, a member of a pioneer family who came to Las Vegas in 1905. They were married nearly 50 years until his passing in 2005. Elinor is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Elinor Pesta, her brother Jesse and her son-in-law Bud. She will be missed by her son Buzz (Merry) Horden, grandchildren Faith, Joy, Justice, True and her daughter Anne Horden Kovacic, nieces, nephew, cousin and many loving friends.
