

Elisa passed away peacefully on January 15 2026 , surrounded by family members, including her loving husband of nearly 41 years. Up until the end Elisa maintained a very positive outlook and was known by her kindness, beauty, generosity and a genuine love of family and friends. She was appreciative of the long life she enjoyed, which was full of wonderful and varied experiences at destinations around the world.
Elisa’s many interests included traveling, gardening and spending time with others. She also possessed a fondness for all types of animals. In her 74 years here with us, she was able to spend much time enjoying each of these! She was also passionate about learning. She was very knowledgeable about a variety of subjects, to include plants and their medicinal properties, cooking, dietary matters, and tailoring. She was proud of her academic accomplishments and acquired numerous certificates related to both her tailoring and typing proficiency. Furthermore, she was the recipient of dozens of “Letters of Appreciation” for the volunteer efforts made throughout their many military assignments.
While originally from Barangay Burabod in the Philippines (where she frequently returned for vacations), Elisa also lived in Spain and Italy, and spent most of her latter years in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nellis Air Force Base was the last station assigned Elisa and her husband Tom and they agreed that the community would serve them well in their retirement years.
Elisa was very close to her family and is survived by many, to include her husband Thomas John Signorino, siblings Editha Villanueva and Nemesio Estrada, Jr., children Elmer and (Monina) Estrada, Edelisa and (Paul) Turner, grandchildren LeAnn and (Joenel) Fernandez Kristopher Turner, April Kate Estrada, Allisa Turner, Gary and (Cynthia)Turner and Joanna Estrada. Additionally, she is survived by five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Nemesio Estrada and Paciona Estrada and her sisters Consolacion Estrada, Lolita (Estrada) Fogel and Gima (Estrada) Peacock.
A visitation will be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Palm Northwest Mortuary is located at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
