
Elleanore O. Riordan, 89, of Las Vegas, NV, Alexandria, VA and Port Charlotte, FL., passed away April 10th, 2014 at home in Las Vegas, surrounded by pictures and mementos she cherished. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to the late Wilfred and Elleanore Snowden. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Riordan, her son Richard Butterfield, brothers Pat and Buddy Snowden and sister Alice Mayhew. She is survived and loved by her son Alan Butterfield and daughter-in-law Linda Butterfield, sister Jackie Adams, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Las Vegas and the Lyons Club of Florida. She and “Bobby” owned and operated the Calvert Restaurant on Lee Hwy in Alexandria for over thirty years. She was an avid reader and traveled throughout the world. Viewing will be on Wednesday the 16th from 4 to 7pm and services will be held on Thursday the 17th at 10am, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129. The services back East will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD. Viewing will begin at 10am with services and interment starting at 11am on April 23rd.
