He loved God and lived to honor Him. He was kind-hearted and warm, always happy, full of laughter, very intelligent, funny, great at crafting, loved anything 'Star Wars', loved to travel, worked faithfully at Hilo harbor in the cruise ship aspect, enjoyed life to the fullest, and all with the most grateful heart. He truly viewed the world as an oyster. He served as deacon in his hometown of Keaukaha, at Ka ‘Ekalekia O Ka Hoku Ao Malamalama, under Kahu Leiffe Pratt-Ha’o.
He is a huge 49er fan to say the least, traveling to several games this past year, anxiously supporting his team. He just missed the last game in Las Vegas. His health was on the decline for a while, but he hid it well.
He is sorely missed, but, “…To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord, (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Thank you, Elton, for blessing our lives and many others who had the privilege to cross paths with your unique kindness.
A hui hou, our dear brother Elts,
Love ~ Lulu, Tina, Roy and Pat
