Emilio Cudal

Emilio Cudal, 89 years old resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Passed away on December 1, 2015. Born at home on May 2, 1926 to the late Pedro and Petronilla Cudal. In Sprecklesville, Maui Hawaii. Emilio was raised in Specklesville, Maui and Honolulu, Oahu Hawaii. He was the oldest out of four siblings; sister, Helen Antonio (Widow); brother, Marcelino Cudal (Mary Ann); younger sister, Monica Bartolome (Moses). He attended Farrington High School in Honolulu. In his senior year of High School he was drafted into the Army. In 1953 he attended The National School of Television in Los Angeles, California. He went forward to work at Little Giants Specialty Printing until retirement. Emilio first married wife, Laudamia Alnas Cudal on July 6, 1947 to June 6, 1964. She is preceded in death. He remarried Iluminada Buhay Cudal on January 15, 1966 to March 27, 2013. She is preceded in death. He had three children within his first marriage one son; Emilio (Bob) Robert Cudal; daughters, Diane Arlene Cudal and Susan Michelle English. Mr. Cudal saw action for World War II he achieved rank for Sergeant First Class in Honolulu, HA. While serving in the Army he was the primary contact for Photography he was sent on missions to Philippines and Japan. Some of his favorite pursuits in life were; photography, woodworking, handyman, playing the ukulele, fishing and crabbing. Tops on his list were baseball. Favorite vacations for Emilio included taking multiple cruises to Europe, Asia, Canada and the States. Ozzy, an Australian Shepard mix was the highlight of Emilio's life he had Ozzy for six years. In 1992 Emilio retired but found his new pleasures in Traveling. He fought a brave battle with Alzheimer’s.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane and Susan; two grandchildren, Dennis Nathan Yamamoto(Veronica) and Kelli Nicole English Rubin (Elliott); three great grandchildren, Keahi Jakob Rubin, Mia Kailani Yamamoto and Keala Nikole Rubin. Visitation services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00am
