

Emma married James Cooper, who proceeded her in death, on February 6,1945. Shortly after marrying, Emma & James relocated to Las Vegas. Emma was employed in the Hospitality Industry at the Flamingo Hotel until she retired.
Emma was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Emma or "Mama Lee", as she was commonly called by those dear to her, loved Life and her family. Emma loved to fish and would sometimes go fishing 3-4 times a week. She enjoyed being around family and friends. She never hesitated to assist her children, relatives, friends and neighbors whenever they needed help. She loved to cook and entertain guests. You could always look forward to a good meal followed by a good card game at "Mama Lee's" home.
Emma leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Deloris (Thomas) Reynolds and Linda Cooper (Leonard) Ladd of Las Vegas; three sons, James Jr. of Seattle, WA., O.C. of Las Vegas and Dezmond (Holly) of Eugene, OR.; six grandchildren, Andre McCrury, Kayla and Kalina Hanson, Max Cooper, Mackenzie Cooper, Talishia Wright, (granddaughter, Tecia Coleman, proceeded her in death); 8 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves special granddaughters Stephany Wright and Rita Davis. In addition she leaves to mourn her passing a very special friend, Leon White and a host of other relatives and friends.
