Hi Mom, It's been 14 years since your homegoing to Heaven.  Time kind of flies down here.  I know you are doing well with our Lord.  Guess what?  We are no longer working and relocated.  Mannie is getting married this May.  We attended her bridal shower in GA last weekend.  She was so beautiful as always.  We were so glad to support her soon to be new marriage. Gabe has been married for almost 4 years already - that went by real fast, lol.  They are doing well.  Vickie is doing so good with her business and internet stuff, it's amazing.  I cry whenever I see all of the stuff she is doing.  Amanda is moving her business to a new location and our granddaughters are doing well.  Alex graduates from HS this year. I remember when she was just born and now she is a beautiful young lady looking like her momma every day.  All is well with us and my dad - he is 80 can you believe it.  Doesn't look a day over 50 IYKYN, LOL.    Love you always and forever, til we meet in Heaven!

Hi Mom! It’s a been a little over 10 years since you departed to Heaven.  So much has happened.  By now you and your mom, Mimi have spent much time together in Heaven. Honestly I am glad she departed prior to the Pandemic that hit the world by storm in 2020. It would have been so hard to care for her  from a distance. Although her her home care attendant Marina was the best, a godsend who took the best care of her. We still keep in contact. My Dad did an outstanding job taking care of your mom too. He was on top of all her healthcare, took care of all the emergencies, helped pay her bills and gave me access to her accounts so I can help keep track of her finances. He treated her so well.  He was her living angel. At her side until she departed in her sleep. God is so merciful. Jose and I are doing well. My kids are doing well. Gabriel got married, and Amanda and Victoria are doing well. You would be so proud of them.  Your great granddaughters are beautiful teenagers. You would be over the moon with them. Mom, its been almost 7 years since you translated to your new home in heaven.  I still wish I can pick up the phone and call you as I often did.  I saved your last voicemail to me for several years until it was lost when I upgraded to a new phone.  Ever so often I remember things from the past, both good and bad because those were the things that shaped me.  I am a better person today for that.  God has been so good and faithful to me and my family.  I know you would be happy to know that we are taking good care of your mom, Mimi.  She just celebrated 94 years, can you believe that?  I know she misses you too and your calls to her.  Your grandchildren are grown now.  Amanda remarried, Victoria is on her own (pray for her) and Gabriel recently graduated college.  I spoke to Glenn about 6 months ago and he sounded good.  I never heard from Rick again.   Anyway, I just want to let you know I still think of you often and look forward to the day we meet again in Glory!  Love you forever!  Alesa --

Mom, it's been five years since your parting.  I still miss you.  Oh how I wish I could pick up the phone and call you.  I wish I could go see you.  I love you so much!  So much to catch up on.  I have a hope no one can steal - I will see you again one day in Heaven -- because its our home - God's promise to all those that receive His son Jesus.   I confession Jesus as my Lord in 1996.   It was the best decision I have made in my life apart from my husband Jose and my dear children, your grandchildren.   Love you forever til we meet again!  Your daughter, Alesa!

She was different, had her own sense of style.  Loved life and all it had to offer.  She loved deeply, was compassionate, worked hard to forget the wrongs other did against her, she forgave, she was a giver, she was thoughtful, she loved her family and friends.  She was always happy.  She was an encourager, she was strong.  Always wanting to give her best for others.  She was happy when others were blessed.

You see, in 1983 my mother Esther, confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior which guaranteed her eternal life in Heaven.   

On 4/22/2011 she parted this world and began a new life.  She shook off her earthly corruptable body and put on her heavenly incorruptible body.  When she arrived at the pearly gates, Jesus was there to meet her.  He wiped her tears and dressed her with a robe of righteousness and placed a crown on her head and said enter in my good and faithful servant to the place I promised to you since the beginning.

If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and savior - make that wonderful choice today and receive Jesus as your Lord.  He  will wipe your sins away and make a place for you in Heaven.

Esther was a great friend to me and I will truly miss her. The first day I met her I called her "a breath of fresh air." My sympathies go out to her family. I know she is with Our Lord now. God bless you.  Thanks for the memories.
