

She attended school in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Region of California. Following the death of her first husband Charles, Eunice moved her family to West Covina, CA. She worked at Valley Community Hospital as a Vocational Nurse. She also worked as a travel agent before relocating to Las Vegas, NV with her late husband Leroy. In 2021 Eunice moved to Mobile, AL.
Eunice is survived by her Children, Six Daughters: Yvette Saunders, Marilyn James, Cheryl Miller, Ingrid (Ivan) Harris, Pamela (Matthew) Mullen, Briggette Cornell; Two Sons: Reginald (Janis) Blount, Stanley (Letty) Blount; Twenty-six Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; Three Brothers and Three Sisters; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other Family and Friends and her Beloved Dog “Bella”.
She was preceded in death by her first Husband Charles Sutton; second Husband of 52 years, Leroy Blount; Daughter: Yvonne Detert; Four Granddaughters: Khonda Coleman and La’Erica Wallace (Yvette’s Daughters), Vanessa Smith (Cheryl’s Daughter), Chiyoko Harris (Ingrid’s Daughter); her Parents, Lessie Mae and David J. Pouncy; and Six Siblings.
Eunice was a lady with style and grace who loved God and her family. She approached every day with strength and a positive attitude. Her laughter and ability to make people feel special will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Palace Station Casino Hotel, 2411 Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102 on September 18, 2022 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, with dinner following from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Inurnment will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
