Wow, this seems like a dream. I would have never expected this, though i am just finding out. Ms. Washington was my 8th grade Geography teacher and will always remain my favorite teacher. She was a very humorous person, and allowed her students to be themselves. I have a really prominent memory of her telling the class not to feel bad for her or ourselves, but instead make the most of what we have. This makes me so sad, my prayers and condolences.- Marsiah

oh my gosh I just got the news from my friend who goes to swainston when I went there she was my favorite teacher I cried when I found out she passed 😢 i send my condolences  

I'm crying right now, because I just found out, but Ms. Washington was my favorite teacher in 8th grade, she was to chill, and so straight forward and that's why I loved her. She wasn't afraid to tell you that you were acting out, and she felt more like a friend rather than a teacher. She constantly gave people more than one chance to succeed and I'm eternally grateful for that, she will be missed, and I hope she rests in peace and in power, because she was amazing.

Where do I begin, I’m sorry for your lost I was in her 8th grade 6th period  class. My name is Brandyn. When I was in her class it was fun and interesting. Ms.Washington would make everyone laugh. She was the best teacher at that school hands down. She cared for everyone in her class, and she helped me out a lot. Her class was the  only class I passed with a B if that doesn’t tell you how good of a teacher she was idk what will. Again I am so so sorry for your lost Ms.Washington was truly the best. 

It’s crazy to believe you’re gone ms. washington... you were the best teacher there could ever be, you always knew how to brighten someone’s day. i remember you would always let me stay after school and help out with the boys basketball practice even tho I didn’t do much. you were always there for anyone that needed help or just needed someone to listen to them. we will forever have you in our hearts, Rest In Peace 🤍🕊

Ms.Washington was my teacher in 8th grade she was one I could talk to and truly communicate things going on in my life with. This is truly saddening to me. She helped me so much and this truly makes me upset to hear. My condolences thank you Ms.Washington for making me a stronger person. Fly High

Omg Ms. Washington i can’t believe your gone.. you were the best teacher and coach there was man😭. I remembered everyday when we would go into your class you were so positive and always ready to teach us. You made history so fun and also challenging but we learned a lot thanks to you. I still have the note book you told us to keep because it could help us in the future. i remember when we were at basketball practice and you were going over plays and you taught us 3/2 and 2/3 and I was so confused and you helped me figure it out and now that’s my favorite defense position to do now

Sad I’m hearing this so late but I remember when I was in 8th grade and she was my basketball coach and with her those were some of the best times in my life . When I had bad games she helped me get through it . You will be missed deeply

I was so very sorry to hear about this tragedy. I worked with Ms. Washington at Swainston, and she was my very favorite staff to invite to my meetings. As a new employee to Clark, in one of the most difficult (distance learning) years I've ever experienced, Fawn was accommodating, up-beat, and uncommonly kind to me in sharing her expertise and strength of spirit. We will not be the same without her. 

I am still in disbelief. I was just with Fawn laughing and talking about our scooters. Let me tell you, she knew how to make me smile and laugh. Stacy and Fawn had visited me at an open house and we were just hanging out and chit chatting. She talked about her students. Fawn loved her students and just kids in general. She was so loving and forgiving. Sending my prayers to the family and love ones. I will certainly be collecting school supplies in her honor!

I enjoyed working with her.  She has a nice sense of humor.
