Francisco Roy San Agustin Rosal was very special to those whose lives he touched. He was a son, grandson, God-son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend to many. Affectionately known to family members as “Frankie” or “Frankie Boy”, while friends and acquaintances knew him as Francisco (Sisco).
Frankie was born to Roy and Mary Rosal on September 16, 1994 at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington and grew up on Guam until the age of 9. He and his family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and have resided here since 2003.
Frankie was raised with three siblings ,two older sisters, Ashley and Alicia and one younger sister, Maria Rosal. He had a special bond with each of his sisters. Ashley and Frankie both loved anything Anime, Charmed and Harry Potter. Alicia and Frankie loved talking about books and singing karaoke. Maria and Frankie could sing for hours in the car and enjoyed each other's company at the ice rink.
As a young boy, Frankie had numerous interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. In his spare time he liked to play video games, read and write creative stories. Frankie didn’t need much to be entertained though, watching a lizard crawl on a tree was very intriguing to him.
A typical teenager, Frankie had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. In high school, he excelled with high honors and even was inducted into the National Honor Society and became the Treasurer of the organization. He enjoyed giving blood to blood banks and joining 5K races for great causes. He graduated from Northwest Career and Technical Academy in 2012.
Immediately after high school, he attended UNLV and completed 3 years towards a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and worked for Fry’s Electronics. He had plans to complete that degree and often said “Not going back and finishing was NOT an option”. During his time at Fry’s Electronics, he formed many friendships and was extremely loved by his co-workers.
Simply stated, Frankie was the most kind individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Frankie leaves behind him, a legacy of life-long relationships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched, will always remember Francisco Roy San Agustin Rosal and his infectious smile. To his parents, his beautiful smile will forever be a part of the their saying to him:
“Frankie, Frankie Boy, My Handsome, Handsome Boy”.
