Frank A. Purpura, age 64, of Las Vegas, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 3, 2017 in Las Vegas. Born May 10, 1952 in Joliet, Ill., he lived in Edmond, Oklahoma before moving to Las Vegas one year ago. Mr. Purpura worked as a merchandiser in the retail industry for many years. He was passionate about his family and loved cooking and caring for everyone. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Purpura and sister Kathleen. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Georgia; children: Christopher (Esther) Purpura, Georgia E. Purpura, Gina (fiance Jeremy Katz) Purpura and Ginger (Nick) Purpura-Emig; grandchildren: Gabriella, Tice, Grace, Aiden, Mia, Vanessa and Vivianna. Funeral service, 1:30pm Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, where family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30pm.
