

Papa Gabriel was raised and educated in Oloko Ahuwa , Nigeria. He went to school for 14 years and then trained to become a teacher. He taught elementary school at Amawom Oboro. It was during this time that he met and married the love of his life, Rosaline NwaGold in their late teens. Through their blessed union they gave birth to 9 children, 6 boys and 3 girls.
After Papa Gabriel's teaching career he and his family moved to Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. It was there that he started his own business venture, an appliance store. While running a profitable business Papa Gabriel also found time to become very active in the Assemblies of God Church. He became a choir director, a worship leader, and later a deacon and board member. He served in these ministries for over 40 years. He and his Bride also taught Sunday school for over 40 years. During this time he also helped plant over 30 churches in the Southern Iboland District of the Assemblies of God Churches of Nigeria.
While being a succesful entreprenuer and a faithful servent to the will of God Almighty, Papa Gabriel and his wife also supported their children's education. Through the grace of God they were able to pay for their children's school.
The Home of Papa Gabriel & Rosaline was always open to missionaries, pastors, and other church guest. God continued to provide as their business grew and this was the beginning of their continued trust in God Almighty for all of their needs. Even when the Civil War destroyed everything they worked so hard for, Papa Gabriel trusted God and rebuilt the business and was even more successful than before.
Papa Gabriel's favorite Bible Verse was Psalm 91 and Psalm 23. Through out the good and bad times he held on to the promises of the word of God.
PSALM 91:2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust."
Each day and night Papa Gabriel gave his time to God through prayer, study, and devotion. He was always a cheerful giver and philantropst and strongly believed in giving back to church and to the community. He and his wife supported many rural pastors and used their own money to pay for their bible college and suppliment their income. Thousands were able to inherit everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ because of Papa Gabriel. He has many sons & daughters in the Lord to which his life was a true testimony. He and his wife also discipled many believers and counseled many couples over the years.
One of Papa Gabriels nephews that he dicipled later became a Bishop overseeing more than 60 churches for the Assemblies of God Churches in the Abia district of Nigeria. During this time Papa Gabriel was also the district leader for the Mens Ministry of Ezikwu Aba.
In the 1980s Papa Gabriiel visited the United States where he had two sons, two American daughter in laws and 8 loving grandchildren. It was a time of great joy in which he was able to see some if the fruits of his labor. It was because of Papa Gabriel and Rosaline that their two sons were able to study in America and later become Citizens of this "wonderful" land.
After his Bride went home to walk with Jesus in 1994, Papa Gabriel returned to the United States in 1997 to live with his second eldest son, Sonny C. Ngadiuba, his wife, and their four children. Since Papa Gabriel did not like staying home without much to do he started to volunteer in the Las Vegas food bank. After that he also began to volunteer as a foster grandparent for Booker elementery school. During this time Papa Gabriel won many achievement awards and also was apart of the local TV Campaign for the program. He also won the hearts and love of the many children who participated in the program.
Papa Gabriel was also a huge blessing of wisdom, guidance and joy to his 8 American grandchildren and 2 American great grandchildren who had the pleasure of being blessed with his wonderful presence for the last 13 years.
Even through all if his hardships and many hospital stays he never lost his faith. Whenever anyone would ask how he was doing he would ALWAYS reply "God is Good."
The Lord Our God is truly good and on Saturday morning the 19th of June, 2010, Papa Gabriel no longer needed faith and was ushered into the ever-loving arms of Our God Almighty where he now runs with Jesus.
Papa Gabriel's life is an incredible testament to the faithful promises and true goodness of God. We eagerly await the day to see him once again and live forever together with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
