Geneva L. “Neva” Evans, 63, a retired electrical worker for the City of Las Vegas and IBEW Local 357, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017. She was born on March 25, 1954, to Albert and Irene Evans in Henderson, NV, and was a lifelong resident. Neva is preceded in death by her sister Rosa Esplin and two brothers, Larry Evans and Wesley Evans. She is survived by her sisters, Cheryl Murry and Darla Livingston; and sister-in-law Barbara Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces. Neva will also be deeply missed by her “furry children,” Kola Bear and Ziggy Star. Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 4, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. The family requests that all gifts and memorials are in the form of donations to the National Alzheimer’s Association. Rest in peace, Neva. You will remain in our hearts forever.
