

Geneva O'Neal was born February 22, 1933 in Rayville, Louisiana to Robert Williams and Nettie Mae Williams (Caston). She passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2025. Geneva is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Lonnie O'Neal Jr., two brothers, Willie Lee Williams and Charles Stan Williams, one grandchild Martinique Tillman, and one great granddaughter Janne Genevieve O'Neal.
Geneva spent her early years in Monroe, Louisiana. In 1950, she married her first husband, Ted Barber, who triadically passed away later that same year. In 1953 she met and married Arthur Tillman, and from that union were born Arthur Lee Tillman, and Alisa Lee Tillman. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1963 and there she met and married the love of her life, Lonnie O'Neal Jr. This marriage produced one son, Michael Lonnel O'Neal. Geneva O'Neal was initially a member of Victory Baptist Church, before joining Zion United Methodist Church with her husband. There she was voted Woman Of The Year for her work at the Church, and the many dinners she cooked and provided for the community. Geneva worked for Mission Linen when she arrived in Las Vegas before moving to the Culinary Industry, and working at the Stardust Hotel & Casino until retirement. After Retirement she enjoyed a beautiful life traveling with her husband between their two homes in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada, while also raising their many beautiful grandchildren.
Geneva leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Alisa Armstead (Paul), two sons Arthur Lee Tillman (Pamela), and Michael Lonnel O'Neal. Grandchildren: Paul Armstead, Angela Armstead, Miles Armstead, Prentice Armstead, Malcolm Armstead, Apollo Tillman, Ashley Tillman, Arthur Tillman Jr., Mercedes O'Neal, Alexes O'Neal and Brandon Connors. Three sisters, Alice Fae Harris, Earnestine Ross, and Bessie Munerlyn, and four brothers, Robert Williams, Eddie Williams, David Williams, Jerry Williams, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, great grandchildren and other relatives.
Geneva's legacy is one of resilience and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
