

Genevieve Movesian 85, of Las Vegas passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born August 28, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to Zakar and Elsie Bogosian. Genny was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was married for 52 years to Andrew, who passed away three years ago. Together they had one daughter, Karin Movesian. Her other beloved family member is Cocoa, who always brought a smile to her face even during the toughest of times with this disease. For fifteen years, Genny worked in a St. Louis area department store selling women’s designer sportswear. She loved fashion and loved to shop with her family.
Genny is proceded in death by her husband; Andrew, parents; Zakar and Elsie and her sister Mary Jane Carosello.
She is survived by her brother; Eddie Bogosian; nephews, Michael Carosello, Steve Movesian, Mike Movesian and Brian Movessian; and daughter, Karin Movesian.
A special thanks to all the caregivers who helped Genny over the last several years at Aegis of Las Vegas and Willow Creek Memory Care Center.
Genny will be most remembered for her spunk, sense of humor and her ability to make you smile.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 am, at Palm Mortuary, located at 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Memorial donations may be made to Keep Memory Alive, in support of Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Genevieve’s name.
