George Lee Nease, 63, a retired Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy, of Las Vegas, passed away February 28, 2012. He was born on August 10, 1948 in Poison, Korea, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1989. George served in the US Navy for 20 years, and fought in the Vietnam War. George is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mrs. Lucia Nease; his five devoted dogs, Susy Q, George Q, Johny Q, Cora Q, and Billy Q; and his bird, Chipy Q. A visitation will be held on March 8th from 3-7pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Boulevard. A funeral service will be held on March 9, 2012 at St. Francis de Sale Roman Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, Nevada.
