Georgia S. Williams

Georgia S. Williams was born to the proud parents, Andrew Sutton and Hannah Stewart on September 08, 1917, in Hope, Arkansas. She was one of five daughters and six sons born to this union. She is preceded her parents, nine siblings, husband George Williams, daughter, and grandson in death.

Georgia came to know the Lord as her savior at an early age; she joined The Church of God in her hometown (Hope) and she, her sisters and cousins formed singing group, “Sanctify Singing Girls”, She married a young man, Bernie and through this union she gave birth to her daughter Bernie Louise Overstreet.

Later she met and married George Williams on Los Angeles, CA. in the 70’s . She worked at Douglas Aircraft for over twenty- five years. After they retired she and George relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, They became members of Second Baptist Church in Las Vegas.

Georgia leaves to mourn her youngest Sister, Hannah of Los Angeles, CA, two granddaughters, Jarna L. Davis of Paramount, CA, Georgia L. Overstreet of Long Beach, CA, great-grandson, Dashawn Davis, great granddaughter in law Mariane Davis, great-great-grandson, Kaden Bell and great –great granddaughter, Jordyn Davis of Compton, CA, and nieces and nephews.
