Geraldine "Gerri" McNeely

Geraldine "Gerri" McNeely, age 95, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, in Henderson, NV. She was born May 22, 1929, in Sharon, Pennsylvania and spent most her life in Greenville, SC and Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her husband, David D. McNeely, Jr., parents, William Clinton and Rossie Roper Eppes, sister Jimmie Eppes Welchel and great-grandson, Dustin E. McNeely, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Karan Espinoza (Ronnie) of Las Vegas, NV and son, David D. McNeely III (Brenda) of Sparks, NV, sisters Jackie Eppes Boling of Roswell, GA and Connie Eppes Hall of Easley, SC, brother Albert James Eppes (Carol) of Simpsonville, SC, 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Gerri's family was the most important thing in her life. She spent as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, working on puzzles, painting and gardening. She wrote and published a book and loved to write and collect unusual stories and remarkable news articles. Her love and light will be missed by all those she leaves behind.

Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas is handling all arrangements. Immediate family will gather for a celebration of life at a later date.
