

Germania Albán, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and grandparent, sadly passed away April 29, 2015 at age 77. She was a charming, caring, vibrant individual with an immense zest for life who made everything more beautiful. She was born January 18, 1938 in Pujili, Ecuador, and moved to the United States at 31 with her husband Medardo Albán. They shared a wonderful union of 39 years. In 1996, she became a widow and a resident of Nevada. She was always an elegantly dressed woman with great style. She was a highly esteemed analyst for American Express in New York and West Valley. She enjoyed worldwide traveling adventures. Her favorite place on earth was ‘her playa’ in San Vicente. She was our well respected matriarch and darling sweetheart. She was preceded in death by her parents, José Bustos and Noemi Lara; husband, Medardo Albán; brothers, Eddie and Guillermo Bustos; in-laws, Oswaldo Vasquez, Berta Bustos, and Ryan Beckstead. Germania Albán is survived by her children: Medardo Albán (Martha Albán), Rommel Albán (Corinne Albán), Jemmy Albán Beckstead, Margaret Albán; grandchildren; Kiawna Beckstead-Albán, Bianka Albán, Claudia Albán, Thalia Beckstead-Albán, Mia Albán, Kira Albán; great grandchildren, Ryann Beckstead-Park and Princeton Washington; sisters, Ceci Bustos, Francisca Vasquez, and Nancy Bustos (Martin Delgado); brothers, Glauco Bustos, (Auri Bustos), Gonzalo Bustos, Hector Bustos (Lola Bustos), Fabian Bustos (Rosie Bustos), and Juan Bustos. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Sunday, May 3rd at noon at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89146.
