Greg Ollila
Devoted Husband, Father and Grandpa
Greg Ollila, aka "Lou", passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 66. He had an infectious sense of humor, and a "get it done, handle it" attitude that everyone around him knew well and loved.
Greg and his wife, Shelli, shared a beautiful love story that spanned 43 years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with laughter, loyalty, and no shortage of good times. He was a proud and dedicated father to his daughter, Stephanie, and son, Stephen. He cherished his grandchildren, Cali and Robert; every moment he spent with them was a moment treasured deeply.
Greg was a man who loved with everything he had. He could make you laugh without even trying. He would yell at the TV during the news and football games (as if they could hear him), roll up his sleeves to fix whatever needed fixing, then turn around and show up for the people he loved without being asked.
He was always tinkering with his beloved car, a passion that brought him tremendous joy or frustration, and connected him with fellow enthusiasts at car club events around town. Bowling a perfect “300” game was one of his accomplishments, and anyone who heard the story knew it, because he told it with the pride it deserved.
Greg was a Life Member of Glaziers Local Union 2001 were he retired as a Master Glazier. He enjoyed working out with his buddies, taking his grandchildren to their rec classes, and spending time with his wife. He brought warmth and energy to everything he did. He had a gift for loving everyone around him, and people felt it.
In Greg's spirit, let his life remind us all of something simple and important: Hug the people you love, and say "I love you" daily. He certainly did.
